WHAT IS THE HEROES PROJECT?
We all have people we look up to. Honor and recognize your hero by writing about them and sharing what you write with others. You’ll be surprised how much you learn about yourself and each other.
Coaching involves more than just the Xs and Os. It’s about developing the whole player. Implementing the Heroes Project into your program teaches:

- Important characteristics people value in impactful relationships
“I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”

SOME QUESTIONS TO ANSWER IN YOUR ESSAY
- Who is your hero?
- This can be someone who has had a big impact on your life and/or someone you look up to.
- What is it that makes them special to you?
- What about them is the reason you look up to them?
- What is something you consider your greatest strength?
My hero is my mother and her superpower is selflessness. My mom is emotionally stronger than any other person I know. She has taught me countless lessons about life and has raised me to be the best person I can be. I respect her so much for the undying patience and love that she gives to my family and those surrounding her. My mother is my role model and I aspire to be like her when I grow up. Still to this day, I do not know how she's able to treat everyone with kindness and tolerance, even when they don't give her the same respects in return. My mother has been a constant support in my life since the day I was born and I love her infinitely because she's done all that I could ask for.
